THE GATHERERS 20th Anniversary

2018 sees the 20th anniversary of the making of THE GATHERERS. The film was made in Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria as the climax of two life changing arts in the community projects, the first having been made under Northern Stage Theatre Ensemble. As a celebration of the impact the making of the film had on the filmmakers, the participants and the town of Barrow, THE GATHERERS has been totally restored, recoloured and recut and will be screened at a celebration event in Forum 28 cinema / theatre, where it originally premiered, to an audience of all those involved in the original production.

It's good to mark this seminal moment in the lives of all those the project and the film touched.

The new restored version will be 'released' after our Sept 2018 celebration event.
